Mother's DayMost restaurants in Torquay were pre-booked for Mother's day on Sunday 18th March. We happened to be in Torquay and the requirement for a mother's day lunch was a new challenge.Luckily for myself and family (mother in tow) we came across Man Friday's whilst wandering around the harbour and having been smugly refused from other establishments for not having booked, we saw menu outside and ventured up. The food was out of this world and staff attentive. We felt a sense of guilt for not being able to consume the entirety of the three courses which was served at a price that was criminal ~ there are not words to describe the outstanding value for money. The quality and amount of fish and the level of detail (we are talking granular ... individual new potatoes stuffed with cream cheese) was legendary. |
